Aprils' Boy & Girl Winner of Kid of the Month!

I never ever wanted kids. I just simply didn’t want them to go through the statistics and negativity of being a little person but 2017 had different plans for me and Kali my beautiful princess was born. As I almost died twice while having her and have had 2 major surgeries, leading me to have to learn how to walk again, I wouldn’t trade her or anything in the world for having such an amazing child. She’s my rock, my best friend, and I’ll be able to be the best mom to her that I never got to experience growing up. She’s my little savage princess. She is my little hero.

My kid is my hero because he shows bravery with our disease.  He isnt afraid of anything that comes in his way.  If I get hurt he tells me what I should do and how to make me better.  He goes through his surgeries like a champ and attends school in regular education.  He is 3'7 but doesnt let his height stop hi .  He will climb to get what he or I need.  No fear sometimes.  He smiles through the pain even when my heart is shattered by what we deal with.  He keeps me going!  He has had over 22 broken bones and many many surgeries.  He deals with bullies but always seems to brighten someone else's day even if his was rough.  He isnt afraid to make a joke about our bone disease to help kids etc not to be scared of him.  He will talk to strangers just to see them smile.  Kyler is and for always be my hero!!!

Marchs' Boy & Girl Kid of the Month

Colton has been dealt with a lot of challenges in his 2 years of life. He was born at 32 weeks. I didn’t get to touch him or hold him till he was three days old because he was transported to another hospital and I couldn’t travel till I healed. He stayed in the NICU for a month and came home on O2. The doctors there told us he had a bell-shaped chest which we learned has given him some issues with breathing. Over the past 2 years, he was in and out of the hospital for a number of surgeries and respiratory issues. He is the strongest and bravest person I know. He was on a ventilator for a year and a half and in the past month has finally come off of it. With all of his hospital stays it has set him back with sitting up and moving around but he works so hard and is so driven each day. Through everything, he always has a smile on his face! He is my hero and my reason to smile every day!

Isabella has been my hero pretty much since she was born. At 9 months old she had emergency Decompression/Chiari malformation repair. She was in the hospital for 2 weeks. She has also had 7 other surgeries not related to decompression, and countless other procedures. She is in 2nd grade and has always been on the AB honor roll. 2 years in a row at school she raised the most money for PTA and was awarded a tiara and Duchess then Queen title. She has an amazing heart, loves cats, loves dolls, and is the youngest kid out of 4. She may be smaller than everyone else, but her personality more than makes up for it.

Feburary Winner!

Abigail Grace has primordial dwarfism (MOPDII), which is the rarest form of dwarfism but that has not stopped her from being the light of our lives and a smile we didn’t even know our hearts needed. She is her sisters best friend. She is the funniest and sassiest child you’ll ever meet. She is such a fighter. From starting at 2 pounds to getting to 5 on her own. She is such a light to everyone she meets, her foot is so tiny but her impact is so big. Words can not describe the strength she brings to us, the joy, the smiles, the laughter, and hope. Our family is complete with her and our hearts have become overfilled with love!
